Our community is proudly powered by Flarum, a modern, open-source forum platform designed to make discussions fast, simple and enjoyable.
We chose Flarum because it offers a clean, lightweight alternative to traditional forum software while still providing the features needed to build a thriving community. Its interface is responsive and works well across desktops, tablets, and phones, making it easy to participate from virtually anywhere.
Another major advantage is Flarum's open-source and extensible design. A large ecosystem of extensions allows us to add new functionality and customize the community as it grows. Flarum is also self-hosted, which gives us considerably more control over our community, its appearance, and its infrastructure than we'd have using a hosted social-media platform.
Most importantly, Flarum keeps the focus where we want it: on conversations and the people participating in them.
